Bozeman’s Winco Foods Location Sets Official Opening Date
Share on FacebookShare on Twitter

BOZEMAN, Mont. – Many Bozeman residents are eagerly awaiting the grand opening of the new Winco Foods grocery store. The new store will be located at 2913 Max Avenue in Bozeman.

Winco Foods was founded in Boise, Idaho and has recently been expanding and adding locations in surrounding states. in 2019, Winco opened stores in both Billings and Helena.

Shortly after plans for a Bozeman Winco location were announced in 2018, a lawsuit was filed by a local grocery workers union and others to prevent the store from opening. The lawsuit was thrown out in 2019, and plans for Winco Foods to build a location in Bozeman were approved.

Winco Foods was founded in Boise, Idaho and is employee-owned, which means, the people that work at the store actually own the company. I grew up in Boise, and my family always shopped at Winco. The store offers and best selection and lowest prices. One of my favorite things about Winco is the bulk bins. The bulk bin selection allows customers to buy hundreds of various items by the pound.

The majority of Winco stores are open 24-hours a day. Hours for the Bozeman store haven’t been announced yet, but we now have an official opening date for the Bozeman store.

We reached out to the Winco Food Corporate Offices, and here’s what they told us. The official opening date for the Bozeman Winco Foods store is February 22, 2021. Winco will be a great addition to Bozeman, and now we have an official opening date to look forward to!

If you are looking for a great job, Winco Foods is hiring for all positions at the new Bozeman store. Positions in the following departments are available.

  • Produce
  • Deli
  • Maintenance
  • Bulk Foods
  • Variety
  • Meat
  • Seafood
  • Pizza
  • Freight
