Astoria, OR – The Astoria Police Department arrested a suspect following a burglary investigation in the area of 30th Street and Grand Avenue on May 21, 2026.
According to police, officers were dispatched at approximately 10:37 a.m. after receiving a report of a burglary in the area.
Officers located and arrested the suspect, and recovered property belonging to the initial victim.
During the investigation, officers also discovered additional items in the suspect’s possession that did not belong to the reported victim. Investigators believe there may have been a second burglary connected to the case.
Authorities are asking residents in the surrounding area who may have exterior security cameras or who recognize the recovered items to come forward with information.
