Officer Michaelson read Pete the Cat and the Missing Cupcakes to the children and gave them a tour of his police car.
The department said visits like this help build positive relationships within the community and ease children’s anxiety around police officers.
According to the post, the mystery of the missing cupcakes was also solved by the end of the visit.
