Astoria, OR – The Astoria Fire Department hosted Battalion Chief Jarrod Sergi from Norfolk, Virginia, for a leadership course titled No-Nonsense Leadership: A Realistic Approach for the Company Officer.
The training focused on practical, experience-based strategies for building strong and effective teams, emphasizing unit cohesion and leadership at the company officer level.
Chief Sergi drew on his military background and current fire service experience to deliver a realistic and engaging session.
The department thanked Chief Sergi for the valuable training, along with surrounding partner agencies, city leaders who attended, and the Astoria Elks Lodge for providing the venue.
