The Astoria Police Department is reminding local residents to remove their studded tires by Sunday, 3/31/2024

Astoria, OR – The Astoria Police Department is reminding local residents to remove their studded tires by Sunday, 3/31/2024.

Astoria Police Department officials released the following statement:

Reminder to have your studded tires removed by Sunday, 3/31/2024.

Oregon law allows studded tires from Nov 1 – March 31.

Driving with studded tires could result in a $165 fine (ORS 815.160)”
