Astoria, OR – According to the city officials, the water main is in the process of being repaired, and 11th St is temporarily closed.

Motorists and pedestrians are advised to avoid this area.

The water remains safe for use and consumption.

Customers may notice a reduction in water pressure, discolored water and/or no water until the system is fully repaired.

If you experience rusty water, delay washing laundry and do not use hot water taps until the cold water runs clear, city officials say.

Updates will occur as they become available.
