Portland, OR — A two-day retail theft operation led by Portland police resulted in the arrest of 40 individuals over the weekend. The operation, which focused on the Mall 205 and Gateway shopping areas, was part of an ongoing effort to combat rising retail theft in the city.
According to the Portland Police Bureau (PPB), officers recovered more than $3,700 in stolen merchandise during the mission. In addition to the arrests, police issued nine citations and conducted stops on 14 vehicles.
