Mother of two dies after suddenly collapsing on the street: “My heart shattered into a million pieces”

The 34-year-old woman, later identified as Ashlee, reportedly passed out in the middle of the street.  She was then transported to the University Hospital by bystanders.  Unfortunately, she was unsuccessful in being resuscitated, and she passed away. Although the exact reason for her death is yet unknown, her sister, Chloe, shared the terrible news on Facebook, reports Mirror.

Police officials issued a statement after her death, where a spokesperson said, “Around 2pm on Wednesday, police were called to the Arnprior Street following a report of a woman taking unwell. She was conveyed to University Hospital for treatment. Officers have since been informed that the woman died on Sunday. Next of kin have been made aware.”

Chloe understandably shaken by her sister’s death, posted a beautiful message for Ashlee. She wrote, “I just couldn’t face writing this out. On Sunday, my heart shattered into a million pieces. My amazing big sister passed away, someone I never ever thought I’d have to be without. And it still hasn’t sunk in for me, this feels like a nightmare. I still can’t believe what has happened.”

She describes her sister as a “selfless” person with a “heart of gold.” She writes, “I’ve never known anyone like you Ashley. You did everything for everyone around you selflessly and you have the biggest heart of gold I’ve ever seen. Every room you entered you brought light and smiles to, everyone absolutely adores you for the person you are and the way you make people feel about themselves.”
