Astoria, OR – The City of Astoria Public Works Operations began installing new crosswalks on 37th Street between Lief Erikson Drive and Duane Street Tuesday morning.
Work started at 8:00 a.m. and will continue until noon or until the project is complete.
Access on 37th Street remains limited to residents only, with no other vehicular traffic allowed.
Motorists and pedestrians are urged to proceed cautiously, follow traffic control devices, and remain aware of workers and equipment near the road.
The city appreciates public patience during the improvements.
